Artist Christy C. Road — a self-described “hyper-sexual queer Latina abuse survivor” — is Kickstarting The Next World Tarot, a “post-apocalyptic reclamation of magic.”  Her style incorporates strong lines, in-your-face juxtapositions, and a tone that marries playful themes with an edgy violence.

This promises to be a unique and collectible deck! As of this writing, with a Kickstarter deadline of Saturday, December 19th looming, she’s at $11,000 of her $25,000 goal.
